VTI's highest authority is its Board of directors. The institute's executive director is the Director General.

Scientific Council and professors

VTI's Scientifiec Council shall promote scientific quality and research ethics at VTI. The Council also works to strengthen the competence and development opportunities for our research staff and consists of VTI's appointed professors.
