Chiara Vitrano is a Senior Researcher at the MAP unit (Mobility, Actors and Planning). Her research focuses on the social and spatiotemporal dimensions of mobility and accessibility, with particular attention to transport-related inequalities, urban rhythms, and the working conditions of transport workers.

She is also interested in questions of transport and mobility justice. Chiara employs a diverse set of methods in her research, including qualitative interviews, surveys, and GIS-based analyses.

She holds a PhD in Urban Studies and has an academic background in sociology.
