Karin's research is mainly situated in the intersection of planning studies and science and technology studies (STS). Her broad research interests comprehend how planning processes, transport infrastructure and urban environment are shaped by politics, forms of government, knowledge claims and organisation. Karin also have a special interest in how standardisation, quantification and valuation practices relates to authority, government, and change in planning.
