Nina is working with a range of subjects related to the environmental and health effects of transport. Her main focus is air quality, but she also works with life cycle analysis and system analysis.
Some examples of research questions related to her work:
- What are the health effects of emissions from road and rail transport and shipping?
- Which mechanisms create wear particle emissions from road and rail traffic?
- How can the air quality in urban areas be improved?
- How can a larger range of parameters be included in life cycle analysis to improve the environmental impact estimation?
- How can car traffic be reduced while still maintaining a good level of service?
- What does the future sustainable society look like?
