New regulations on their way?

The Swedish government commissioned the Swedish Transport Agency to investigate how a “minimum passing distance” regulation could be introduced.
The report is scheduled to be presented in August 2026. We’ll do what we can to support it with scientific evidence and reasoning, not least to explain why focusing on a full lane change makes more sense than a “minimum” passing distance.
