To mark World Bicycle Day on June 3, the Swedish Cycling Research Centre at VTI hosted yet another international webinar; this one explored how laws, regulations, and enforcement shape people’s ability and freedom to use the road.
This webinar is highly interesting, thought-provoking and insightful. This time, we bring together leading researchers, one of whom is Katja Kircher, to discuss everything from the values and assumptions behind traffic legislation to concrete findings on how overtaking regulations affect cyclists’ safety. Further, it shows a practical example of how to work on attitudes towards cyclists.
