NTSA Research School 2024 is organised by the International Cooperation on Theories and Concepts in Traffic safety (ICTCT) in Lund, Sweden, May 14–16.

The seminar is held in close co-operation with the Traffic Safety and Behaviour group at the Department of Technology and Society, Faculty of Engineering, LTH, Lund University.

The topic for NTSA 2024 is Walkable and safe: combining sustainability and Safe System perspectives to address pedestrian issues.

The school targets primarily PhD students and postdocs working on problems that resonate with the announced topic. It is open, however, to the broad community of traffic safety professionals interested in the subject.

Sonja Forward, research director at VTI, will give a presentation on 14 May on the topic of Walkability and Safety – a wide prespective.
