Katja Kircher är forskningsledare inom området "trafikanternas uppmärksamhet". Hennes forskning handlar om hur både förare och cyklister fördelar sin uppmärksamhet när de rör sig i trafiken, och om och hur de anpassar sitt beteende när de utför extrauppgifter. Katjas forskning handlar även om metodutveckling för att kunna undersöka dessa frågeställningar.
