Forskningsenheten Trafikanalys och logistik inriktar sig mot trafikanalytiska och logistiska frågor för transportsystemets utveckling.
Inom trafikanalysområdet ligger tyngdpunkten i utveckling och tillämpning av trafikmodeller. Vi utvecklar även empiriskt baserade effektsamband för transportsystemet. Verksamheten inom godstransporter och transportlogistik är idag inriktad mot urbana transporter och nationella transportslagsövergripande godsflöden.
Våra frågeställningar handlar om: hur nya samhällstrender, policys och teknik påverkar människors resande och företagens förutsättningar och transportlösningar, utformning och implementering av nya hållbara transportsystem och bättre beslutsunderlag för företag och myndigheter.
