NEEVE researchers join new tyre particle network

Two NEEVE researchers from VTI; Dr. Ida Järlskog and Dr. Mats Gustafsson, recently attended the first meeting of the TyPE (Tyre Particle Emission) network, initiated by Dr. James Knowles, Prof. George Mavros, and Dr. Dan O’Boy from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
The meeting brought together around 30 researchers with a diverse range of expertise, aiming to identify key areas for research and development and to plan for the network’s future expansion and upcoming activities.
In addition to engaging discussions and a presentation on the NEEVE project, participants also had the opportunity to visit Loughborough University’s laboratory and tyre testing facilities, which proved inspiring.
-The TyPE network is a very interesting initiative with the potential to become an important platform for discussing and disseminating NEEVE results, say Mats and Ida.
