Presentation at Nanoparticle Conference in Zürich

Tawfiq Al-Wasif Ruiz, PhD student at CIEMAT and Life-NEEVE project member

At the 28th ETH Nanoparticle Conference, Tawfiq Al-Wasif Ruiz, PhD student at CIEMAT and Life-NEEVE project member, presented findings from the study “Ultrafine Brake Wear Particles in Real-World Scenarios: Morphology and Composition.”

The research explores how braking conditions influence the formation of ultrafine particles, combining on-road measurements with microscopic analysis to better understand their characteristics and potential environmental implications.

The conference, held the 16-19 June at ETH Zürich, provided an opportunity to share results with peers in the field of airborne nanoparticle emissions and discuss future research directions.
