Cycling is both shaped by and shapes power. Power appears in multiple forms: as the physical capacity and effort of cycling bodies, and as the political, social, and infrastructural forces that determine who can move, where, and under what conditions.

The symposium theme Pedalling Power: Cycling, Politics and Possibilities invites contributions that examine how these forms of power intersect and what new possibilities emerge when they are challenged, redistributed, or reimagined.
