VTI is a national institute with extensive international relations. Our national and international networks are a guarantee that the knowledge we produce has a broad, deep and interdisciplinary basis.
In Sweden VTI has well established collaboration with several uneversities.
VTI participates in national centres for R&D in the field of transport. These centres concentrate the research and development resources of universities and polytechnics, institutes, industry and the business sector, in research environments which receive long term support and finance from the large national clients Swedish Road Administration and Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems.
