Meet VTI at TRA 7–10 June in Brussels

VTI will be represented at the Transport Research Arena, TRA 2010, 7–10 June in Brussels, Belgium. TRA is the European forum par excellence where innovation, research and development in the transport and road construction sectors are presented to more than onte thousands of experts and interested parties.

Researchers from VTI will hold two oral presentations and one poster presentation. VTI is also taking part in a Swedish stand together with the Swedish Transportation Administration and Vinnova, the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems. The motto of the stand is "Greener, safer, smarter through collaboration – the Swedish way". The Deputy Director General of VTI, Kent Gustafson, and research leader Gunilla Franzén, Department of Infrastructure, will also attend the conference.

The goal of TRA 2010 is to bring information to the participants at three different levels: general interaction at the plenary sessions, specific views on topics and policies during the strategic sessions and in depth presentations and discussion on specific transport topics within the thematic sessions.

The conference programme is built up around six pillars, covering the different aspects of road transport and research:
